The idea of the project ‘Evening Walk’ came from the restriction that has been put on us by COVID-19 on our ability to live freely. I felt restless due to the fact that I cannot go to any place at any time and make some photographs. I decided I will take my camera with me every day in the evening walk and take pictures of things that interest me in my neighborhood. Surprisingly, there are plenty of interesting subjects to take photographs of. This daily routine had given me the opportunity to know my neighbors better as I asked my neighbors if I could take pictures of them or their pets. A film camera such as Leica is always a good conversation starter. I cannot say how many times people asked me what camera I am carrying. As I show them my camera, we get to know each other.
